Measure it on your own farm

We are offering a limited number of free 90-day trials to sheep and cattle feedlot, containment and dairy operators. We install a trough, you use it and record what you see, and at the end you decide.

Install and use

A trough goes in beside your existing water, which stays available the whole trial. Record a few things once a week.

Keep it at a trial discount, or we collect it at no cost to you and you tell us what did not work.

How we judge the trial

Agreed in writing before the trial starts:

  • No more than one fault during the trial
  • Hand-cleaning time saved of at least 30 minutes a week compared with the trough it replaced
  • Water use no more than 10% higher than before
  • Water stays clean enough that stock drink normally

What you record

Once a week, on a simple sheet we provide:

  • How many times the trough was cleaned by hand, and the minutes spent
  • Any faults or blockages
  • A photo of the trough
  • Any change in how stock are drinking
